Cyberattack on the Albanian Post, Minister Demo reacts!

The Minister for Local Government, Ervin Demo, has reacted regarding the cyberattack on the Albanian Post.

According to him, there is no indication of encrypted information, while he stated that work at the Albanian Post institution continues normally.

Demo also stated that an analysis is being conducted by the Cyber ​​Authority, AKSHI and postal experts and they will issue a final report.

Minister Ervin Demo : At the moment we are speaking, an analysis is being conducted by the Cyber ​​Authority, by the National Agency for Information Security and the Albanian Post Office experts. What we can say is that postal services continue normally. There is no data that there is encrypted information, but they must wait for the final report of these institutions. What I want to emphasize is that the Cyber ​​Authority itself has the capacities to increase the guarantee regarding the integrity of public data in Albanian institutions. Not all institutions are included under the umbrella of this institution, but Albania has made progress in this direction in recent years.
