Roan Brahimi's father was killed by gunfire in an assassination attempt in the village of Pllanë, Lezha.
He was shot at around 8:00 PM this evening by unidentified individuals, and is reported to have died at the scene.
Roan Brahimi was traveling on Thursday evening, May 9, 2024, in a luxury Mercedes Benz A Class car, accompanied by his wife, Katerina Beqos, when they were shot with a hail of bullets in the center of Athens.
Roan Brahimi is a well-known name to the Albanian Police and is suspected of being involved in several serious criminal events that have affected people close to betting businessman Ervis Martinaj, who himself has disappeared without a trace.
First, he was suspected of the assassination attempt that occurred at the Milot overpass where Ervis Martinaj's first cousin, Brilant Martinaj, and his two friends were killed. The State Police requested him for questioning, but it turned out that he was not in Albania.
This 32-year-old has also been asked to be questioned about the serious incident that occurred in Milot shortly after the murder of Brilant Martinaj.
Ervis Martinaj's right arm was shot with gunfire near his house and as a result he was seriously injured, while his friend, Klisman Preçi, died.
In both cases, Roan Brahimi was not detained and questioned. The family denied that he was involved in these events because he was abroad.
