Yesterday evening, Elbasan was shocked by another criminal event, after 33-year-old Madrit Ulqinaku was shot dead in the middle of the city.

He was shot by a 20-year-old identified as Klajdi Shaholli, with two bullets with a silencer while he was getting into his vehicle. Ulqinak had earlier had a conflict with the 20-year-old for weak motives, in the "Kongresi" neighborhood. In order to get the "hack", the young man followed him and waited for him until the moment Ulqinaku was getting into the vehicle. In those moments, he approached and shot him, leaving him dead on the spot.

It is learned that Madrit Ulqinaku was the father of an 8-year-old girl. Also, it is learned that this was the second tragedy in the Ulqinaku family, since in the year of the riots in 1997, Madrid had a brother executed.

The police seized the cameras in the area, which also helped in the identification of the perpetrator, who is already wanted. It is suspected that the author was helped by other people to leave.
