Murder of Stiven Toshkezi, Appeal reduces the author's prison sentence to 6 years

The Tirana Court of Appeals has sentenced young man Alex Hoxhaj to 12 years in prison, deducting 6 years from the First Instance decision that sentenced him to 18 years in prison.

This has caused tension in the court, where the police have escorted the family members of the deceased Stiven Toshkezi to the police station.

Hoxha has been found guilty of the murder of 20-year-old Stivën Toshkëzi, an event that occurred on April 18, 2023, at around 00:15, on "Skënder Sallaku" street, in the capital, near the "Partizani" high school.

Currently, the mother of the young man Toshkezi, his brother and sister-in-law are at the police station.
