The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has requested 30 years in prison for Xuliano Hoxha and 12 years in prison for Eugent Halili, who are accused of murdering Regis Runaj and Emiljano Ramazan in July 2020.

The mafia assassination in which Emiljano Ramazani was killed took place on July 20, 2020. The murder was committed under his house, while Ramazani was parking the "Ford Focus" type vehicle.

The perpetrators were three people in the car and one of them shot 5 times with a pistol type weapon, although they found two burnt Kalashnikovs in the car.

The murder of Emiljano Ramazan, known by the nickname 'Rramani', is suspected to have happened for drug settlement, as he was known as a cocaine distributor in the city, while a few days after his murder, his close friend Regis was also found murdered. Runaj, 23, stabbed to death, and then his body dumped on the side of the road near the town's cemetery, a dead-end street where no one passes. This has helped the perpetrators to leave no trace after killing Runaj.
