A person suspected of having provided the conditions for the murder of Renato Hoxhaj in Vlora has been arrested in the capital.
The arrested man, who is from Tropoja, was involved in property sales and is also known as a friend of Sidorel Prendi (Rohan Brahimi).
His arrest came after an investigation by the Vlora police, which identified the car the killer was driving. It turns out that the Tropojë resident had given the car to the perpetrator before the crime. The vehicle's license plates had also been changed.
As material evidence, a cell phone was seized from the arrested person, inside which valuable data for the investigation was found. It is suspected that the murder was ordered by a criminal group from the United Arab Emirates.
The police are deepening the investigation to arrive at the name of the executioner, who has not yet been identified.
It seems that the victim also feared an attack after he had increased security measures. About two months ago, he had installed security cameras in every corner of his apartment, which filmed the incident and the perpetrator's car.
He had not reported his fear of a possible attack to the police.
