Since late Monday evening, dozens of police forces have entered the town of Ksamil. It is a secret operation being carried out by operational forces, those of the FNSH in cooperation with the Saranda police.

It is reported that the police are pursuing several high-risk individuals, who have not yet been located. Two vans with FNSH officers are combing the area from Ksamil to Butrint, while checkpoints have been set up at the entrances and exits of the town.

Police agents, meanwhile, have been reviewing security cameras at several businesses since this morning to locate the suspects. It is suspected that there was also a clash between the suspected perpetrators and the police, which is why additional forces had to arrive.

Entry and exit are being controlled by members of the "Eagle" forces, while the operation is expected to extend to the Albanian-Greek border in the Konispol Municipality.
