Yesterday, public opinion was shocked after reports that the remains of a woman who had died 17 years ago were stolen from the cemetery in the city of Lushnja.

Behind the unusual event was 36-year-old Edison Ngresi, who had dug a tunnel underground to "reach" the grave.

While it was reported yesterday that Ngresi suffers from mental health problems, new details have been made public today about his past.

The young man's story appears to be difficult; he is said to have been an excellent student at the Faculty of Medicine, where he studied for three years, but then interrupted his studies due to the emergence of mental health problems.

It is also learned that both of his parents have long passed away, while he currently lives alone, and has only one brother.

Edison admitted to the act after being escorted to the police station, but did not provide an explanation for the motive, as it is learned that he had previously been problematic in the area where he lived and had previously committed acts of damage in the city's cemeteries.

We recall that the serious incident was discovered yesterday at around 10:00 am by the cemetery guard, who noticed damage to the upper part of the grave. Based on information obtained from preliminary investigations, it was the 36-year-old who carried out the excavation.
