Serjan Mazrreku  has been appointed the new director of the Durrës prison.

Mazrreku replaces Edmond Llabani in this position , who has been in command as director of Durres Prison since January 15 and passed away at the beginning of this month, after a serious illness.

Mazrreku is also known for his political move in 2021, leaving the Socialist Party and joining the Democratic Party, a momentary leap that apparently did not last long, returning this name to the Socialist Party campaign in the last elections.

It is also learned that  Ilir Ngresi  has resigned before serving 3 months in his position as Head of the Inspectorate of Territorial Protection (IMT).
