
In Tuesday's operation by the Tirana Anti-Drug Police, 15 arrests were made out of more than 30 with court orders, while 2 others were charged in their cells, after they had been previously detained during previous operations for drugs.
Meanwhile, the police have announced that 16 other people are wanted. According to sources close to the Blues, the criminal group is suspected of being involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics, mainly cannabis and cocaine.
The accused are believed to have been supplying drugs to various areas of Tirana, and their activities also extended to schools. During the operation, narcotic doses were seized.
The investigations into this network have been underway for several months and are part of the proceedings opened in the context of previous raids. Through wiretapping and decoding of messages, investigators have managed to identify the arrested persons, as well as those wanted, suspected of being part of this criminal activity. Over 2 kg of cocaine have previously been seized as part of the proceedings.
