Fire reactivates at Bushati landfill

The fire at the Bushati landfill has been reactivated again.

Top Channel journalist Klodian Zhivani reports that even though there was rain in the area, the flames still could not be extinguished at the waste disposal site.

"It seemed like the fire had been extinguished, but it wasn't, as it was reactivated last night. Firefighters and heavy equipment are continuing to work to isolate the flames. Firefighters are throwing water, while heavy equipment is throwing soil," the journalist reported.

The fire at the landfill has been going on since April 19th.
