In an interview for the show "With an Open Heart" by moderator Evis Ahmeti, just 24 hours after the incident, he says that "they have left it to justice."

"We are just alive and breathing," the young girl's father said sadly.

He says that Xhuana's last phone call was with her mother the morning before the incident occurred.
