Erion Veliaj
The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, has appealed to the High Court against the decision of the Special Court of Appeal.
Veliaj has requested a change to the security measure "prison arrest" in the appeal submitted by lawyers, via mail.
Veliaj is under investigation for corruption and money laundering and has been in prison since February 10 of this year.
