African heat sweeps across the country, weekend temperatures expected to reach

Air masses originating from North Africa, which are being supplied with moisture from the Mediterranean Sea, have brought relatively unstable atmospheric conditions to the territory of Albania.

Weather forecaster Elida Maloçali, in a live broadcast for the news edition on Top Channel, showed what the weather will be like next week.

According to meteorological forecasts, during the weekend the country will have variable weather, with alternating clear and cloudy skies. In the afternoon hours, the clouds are expected to be accompanied by rain and thunderstorms, mainly in mountainous areas, while the coastline remains largely dry.

The wind will blow at speeds of 7 to 14 m/s, bringing variable local conditions in some areas.

In terms of temperatures, the country is experiencing typical subtropical conditions, with values ​​expected to reach 33-34°C over the weekend.

Even during the next week, the weather will remain similar, with clear skies in most of the territory and isolated precipitation in the mountainous reliefs. Temperatures are expected to increase further, reaching up to 34-35°C, while the wind will be lighter, around 5 m/s.
