Professor Dorina Hoxha has been suspended from her duties as Dean of the Faculty of Law , with an order that is being considered unprecedented, dated May 20 and signed by the rector,  Artan Hoxha .

It states that since Dorina Hoxha has expressed interest in running for the position of member of the High Judicial Council, she is suspended from duty and all powers have been transferred to Professor Skënder Kaçupi.

The case has raised doubts about a dangerous precedent that calls into question university autonomy, because the university cannot function as the private property of the rector.

Concern has also been created by the fact that instead of the deputy dean of the Faculty of Law taking over the powers, they have been delegated to a respected professor, but who, due to his age, cannot exercise a "part-time" duty.
