A 40-year-old man was arrested in flagrante delicto for violently assaulting his wife and threatening her with a firearm.

The services of the Serious Crimes Sector, in cooperation with the services of Police Commissariat No. 5 and the "Eagle" Special Force, after receiving information that a citizen had raped his wife and threatened her with a firearm, immediately organized work to prevent a possible criminal incident.

As a result of the rapid and professional intervention of the Police services, within the framework of the police operation codenamed "Reaction", citizen AM, 40 years old, resident of Kamëz, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

During the search of the 40-year-old's apartment, police found and seized the firearm, the pistol with which he threatened his wife, and a quantity of combat ammunition, which were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
