The family of Vesel Demiraj, owner of the "Pelikani" company, has reacted to the media regarding the attack in Lundë, where his minor son and grandson were among the wounded.

The family, through lawyer Gëzim Demiraj, says that there is no connection to a history of usury or debts, while emphasizing that they have no problems with anyone, so they were not guarded. The family demands that the police and the prosecution be respected so that they can do their job in solving the incident.

"In respect of public opinion, I clarify that our company, nor my brother Mr. Vesel Demiraj, the owner of the company, who was harmed by the serious injury of his children and my grandchildren, have no connection with the history of usury and debts. We are a company with well-known international partners. We act according to the laws in force and in the entire fiscal and institutional context in Albania! No one from our family was protected despite the fact that we are professionals in this field because we have no problems with anyone!

"Whoever makes insinuations makes me think that I should speak facts and not untruths! Children are innocent! Let's respect the police and justice for doing its job!", declared lawyer Gëzim Demiraj.
