US Embassy with important announcement for visa applicants, system changes from this date

The U.S. Embassy in Tirana will implement a new system for visa appointments, starting May 20th.

The new system will allow for a number of conveniences, such as changing the interview date. To implement this new system, visa applicants will temporarily be unable to generate payment slips or make schedule changes from May 19-29, the U.S. Embassy announced.

The US Embassy in Tirana will use a new system for visa appointments starting May 30, 2025.

Through the new service, visa applicants will be able to obtain visa information, pay application fees, schedule and change interview dates, and receive document submission services. To implement this new system, visa applicants will temporarily be unable to generate payment slips or make schedule changes from May 19-29.

Please note that all nonimmigrant and immigrant visa interviews that are already scheduled or will be scheduled before May 19, 2025, will remain valid after the new visa appointment system begins. Visa applicants should plan to attend their appointments on the scheduled dates and times.
