Investigators hope to solve the assassination attempt in Lundë, where the two sons of the owner of the " Pelikani Security" company, aged 11 and 17, the family driver and a friend of the boys were injured by a barrage of Kalashnikov bullets.

DNA samples of the suspected perpetrators of the crime that shocked the country have been discovered.

VNA writes that in the place where the perpetrators were hiding, waiting for the vehicle they were going to shoot at, they probably forgot some items in their haste, which are not known to be what they are.

Traces of them and genetic material to build a DNA profile have been discovered in these items.

The profiles are expected to be compared with those of the registered persons and then with specific suspects related to the incident.

The attack in Lundë took place on Thursday evening. The boys, after celebrating the 11-year-old's birthday, were returning from Shijak to Tirana, where they were ambushed at the intersection in front of Agro Park.

As a result, all 4 people traveling in the G Class luxury vehicle were injured.

The 11-year-old is in serious condition in hospital, police suspect the attackers may have mistaken their target.
