Besjana Kosturi, the Albanian girl who was kidnapped and raped by two Romanians in Italy, has told her story on the show "Alhqipëria Live".
Besjana has shown that the abduction took place in a forest and she managed to escape by convincing them that she would provide them with a considerable amount of money. She also added that while talking to the main author, she expressed to him that she was in love with him and would create a relationship.
"I got into his mind and talking to the main author I told him don't worry, I won't denounce, we will bond together, I was forced to go after him to act", added Besjana during the interview.
The main perpetrator was the one who kept her in a hut for 6 hours and raped her. During the time when they were talking, Besjana said that one of the perpetrators was drunk and managed to convince them to go to a bar nearby and took advantage of the opportunity to escape.
Besjana has also shown that in Italy her case was received much differently and more civilly than in Albania.
"I am not ashamed of what happened there because I have no fault and let them know that I have nothing to be ashamed of", added Besjana.
During the interview Besjana also added that thinking about her father she had the courage to act in that way.
"I was thinking about my father, not because my life was hurting me, but I didn't want my father to cry for a girl who had disappeared", said Besjana.
Besiana's story happened on May 12, 2016, where she and her father, former professor Vldimir Kosturi, made the event public in order to raise awareness for every girl who may encounter such disasters in her life.
