A 25-year-old Albanian man lost his life in a tragic accident this Monday in Italy.
The young man driving a truck collided with another truck stopped on the A22 highway, in the area between the Veronese municipality of Nogarole Rocca and the Mantua tollbooth in the north.
The 25-year-old, who was allegedly driving at high speed, died immediately at the scene.
Verona Sud traffic police revealed that the accident happened after a previous accident, where a truck overturned on the road around 06:20 am.
Operations to move the trailer lasted until 8:22 a.m., when one lane was reopened to allow traffic to flow. At 9:40 a.m., the road was closed again to move the trailer. And at this moment, betrayed by the rain and poor visibility, the victim did not notice the stopped vehicles and crashed.
