The Court of Durrës has given the obligation to appear for Barie Gjuni, the grandmother who kidnapped and hid her 3-year-old grandson.

For almost a week, Barie and Rexhep Gjuni kept their infant grandson hidden, trying to take him from his mother and raise him on their own.

On April 20, they decided to return the boy to the police, while they will now face justice.

The father of the minor son passed away about a year ago, while his family members expressed that they wanted to raise the grandson themselves, as they missed the deceased. They also claimed that the child needed medication that his mother could not provide.
