Fabiel Xhindi is the 37-year-old who was wounded by gunfire shortly after midnight last night.

The injured man was taken to the hospital by his friend, but during questioning they did not reveal the details of the incident.

The gunshot wound occurred in Berat, and it is suspected that everything started after a fight between the injured man and other people in the "Kombinat" neighborhood.

The other people with whom 37-year-old Fabiel Xhindi, from Galina, had a conflict were in their own car.

"Around 00:55, citizen FT (Xh), 37 years old, resident of Berat, was taken to the hospital for medical assistance, wounded by gunfire in still unclear circumstances, at the entrance to the city.
The 37-year-old is out of danger for his life.

"An investigative group was immediately established, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, and intensive investigations are continuing to clarify the circumstances and secure evidence, with the aim of legally documenting the event, identifying and capturing the perpetrator(s)," the police announced.
