Just two months after being dismissed from her position, the former director of Peshkopia Hospital, Irini Shehu, was handcuffed by the police, and is suspected of threatening and harassing several people.
The Dibra Court has ordered house arrest for the 44-year-old.
According to the blue uniforms of Dibra, the former director has persecuted the current director of Peshkopia Hospital, Rruzhdi Deda , who replaced her in this position after her dismissal, because she hit the hospital's Chief of Finance, Shaban Uklala, with metal tools.
After the incident, the court ordered that the 44-year-old woman no longer practice as a doctor at the hospital, an order that was broken this Wednesday by the former director, who went to the premises of the Peshkopia Regional Hospital and argued with the employees.
It was precisely the latter who notified the police, who arrived at the hospital premises and handcuffed the 44-year-old.
After being dismissed from her post for the violence inflicted on employee Uklala, former director Shehu, who was being investigated while at large, was also denounced by other hospital employees for insults and threats through messages and phone calls.
