The Turkish secret service has arrested an Albanian citizen from Kosovo accused of being an employee of the Israeli secret service.
According to Turkish Intelligence, Kosovo-born Liridon Rexhepi has been identified as the head of the Mossad financial network in Turkey.
According to Turkish media, Rexhepi managed the financial operations of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad in Turkey.
He was found to have transferred funds to agents on the ground in Turkey who were gathering intelligence on Syria.
According to Turkish media, Rexhepi has carried out drone recordings and operational activities against Palestinian politicians with the instructions of the Israeli Intelligence Service.
Turkish media also report that he has transferred money to field personnel in Turkey who compiled information related to Syria.
The police arrested Rexhepi on August 30.
The Turkish media have also published footage of Rexhep's arrest in Istanbul, where numerous special forces agents accompany him in handcuffs.
