TRAGIC/ A 63-year-old man from Lezha died in the hospital after drinking

Pal Trashaj, the 63-year-old who drank photoxy yesterday afternoon in front of the SPAK prosecutor's office, has passed away. The 63-year-old who was known as a historian in the city of Lezha was the victim of a financial fraud scheme with microcredits that affected a very high number of citizens in Albania.

Sources from QSUT informed that he passed away this morning. 

The 63-year-old man, who also held the post of DP in this city, 2007 - 2009, for years had denounced the ordeal with the loan received, which then multiplied over the years until the asset was blocked.

Pal Trashaj had a remaining loan since 2008, in the amount of 760 thousand old lek (76 thousand new lek). The loan was bought by MCA, which demanded 4.8 million ALL, blocking everything for 5 years: the house, the land, the car and the salary where he worked.  

In a reaction, SPAK informed that the 63-year-old requested a meeting with one of the BKH investigators for a case which, after the verifications, has turned out to have passed to a general jurisdiction prosecutor's office in 2022.
