Another prostitution 'nest' in Durrës, two Colombians arrested

The 11th phase of the police operation codenamed "STORM" to crack down on criminal prostitution activity in Durrës is being finalized.

Police announced this Saturday, December 13, that two Colombian citizens, LS, 26 years old, and MP, 26 years old, were arrested after they rented an apartment in the Shkëmbi i Kavajës area and used it to engage in prostitution.

Also, for the criminal offense of "Prostitution", the Albanian citizen EM, 22 years old, resident of Burrel, was criminally prosecuted at large.

During the search of the apartment, two passports of foreign citizens, sums of money in lek and foreign currency, three mobile phones, a notepad and several SIM cards were seized.

Operation "STORM", developed by the Trafficking Investigation Section of the Durrës Police Department, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, was pursued with special investigation methods for several weeks and aimed to crack down on the criminal offenses of "Prostitution" and "Adapting premises for prostitution".
