Tragic accident in Kosovo, renowned Albanian economic expert and her friend pass away

Two women tragically lost their lives today in a serious accident on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway. The victims are Eorda Sinollari and Elizabeta Katija, the latter known in the Albanian media as an economics expert.

The incident occurred after a collision between a car and a truck, where unfortunately, both women lost their lives. Meanwhile, the truck driver suffered injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo, according to information provided by health authorities.

The Kosovo Police has also confirmed the incident. According to spokesman Baki Kelani, the accident occurred today at around 07:40, at kilometer 26 of the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway.

"A car with foreign license plates and a truck with local license plates were involved in this incident. Unfortunately, the accident resulted in fatal consequences for two women," Kelani said.

Authorities are continuing investigations to determine the exact causes of the accident and the circumstances that led to this tragedy, while citizens and the community are shocked by the loss of the two women.
