SPAK files a claim against the former head of ARRSH, Evis Berberi, here's how many years in prison he is asking for

SPAK files a complaint against former directors of ARRSH, Evis Berberi and Gentian Gjyli. This is one of the files for violations of equality in public tenders or auctions, carried out in collaboration, regarding several procurement procedures.

Summary trial process.

The Special Prosecution Office is seeking a 10-year prison sentence for Evis Berberi for violating equality in tenders in 5 episodes, passive corruption in 6 episodes, and money laundering in 1 episode.

A 1/3 reduction in sentence due to summary judgment brings the sentence down to 6.8 years.

For Gentian Gjylin, also former director of the Albanian Road Authority, SPAK is seeking 1.6 years in prison for violating equality in tenders in 2 episodes and the removal of the right to exercise public functions for a period of 5 years.

For Erald Elezin, former director of KESH, SPAK requested a sentence of 1.6 years in prison for violating equality in tenders, which is reduced by 1/3, as well as the removal of the right to exercise public functions for 5 years.

SPAK prosecutor Dritan Prençi also read the final conclusions for the other 20 defendants in this case.

SPAK also requested the confiscation of the money seized from Ervis Berber's apartment.
