Bad weather situation / Some road axes still blocked, power outage in 9 cities

According to reports from the structures of the Civil Protection system at the National Civil Emergency Operations Center, the situation so far is as follows:

Road axes

According to the ARA, all national axes are passable, with the exception of.

* In the Kukës region, all roads have become passable, except for the road connecting the administrative unit of Arra with the national road and the roads of the villages of Cahan, Xhebexhi, and Vlahen of the Has municipality.

* In the Dibra region, the "Arbri" road is impassable in Qafë Murriz due to heavy snowfall. Contracting companies are working to open this road.

1. The Municipality of Dibër has blocked the road from the administrative center of Lura with the main axis, but work is underway to open the passage from Rrëshen. Also, the roads that connect the villages with the administrative units of Selishtë.

2. In the Bulqizë municipality, internal roads in the administrative units of Ostren, Trebisht and partially in the administrative units of Zerqan, Martanesh and Fushë-Bulqizë are blocked.

* In the Durrës district, the Cudhi-Qafështamë road axis is now passable after work by Krujë municipality vehicles. Currently, work is underway on the road connecting the village of Bruz-Mal with the Cudhi-Qafështamë axis.

* In the Shkodër region, in the Fushë-Arrëz municipality, work is underway to unblock the roads connecting the Iballë administrative unit with its villages. While the Kir-Shosh segment continues to be blocked.

* In Lezha District, all national road axes are passable, including the Church Road, which was opened to traffic at around 1:30 PM with winter tires.

Electricity supply:

OSSHE teams are working to restore electricity in several areas of the municipalities: Durrës, Elbasan, Berat, Korçë, Fier, Gjirokastër, Kukës, Shkodër and Burrel.

Rivers and reservoirs

1. In the village of Vadardhë, Sukth administrative unit, Durrës municipality, the Erzen river overflowed its bed, flooding 1 greenhouse and 4 acres of agricultural land, but after intervention with an excavator by the Directorate of Irrigation and Drainage, the danger was eliminated. The Erzen river overflowed its bed in the village of Katund, flooding only the yards of several houses.

Armed Forces personnel are in the city of Vlora, where they are assisting the municipality in coping with the situation caused by the floods.

Also, following the request made by the Prefect of Tirana District today for support with heavy vehicles, a fire truck and a truck from the Armed Forces were sent to the Dajt Administrative Unit, Tirana Municipality to assist the community. The assistance will continue tomorrow in Linza, to assist the community.
