After the decision of the Court of Appeal to postpone the final decision until September 26, deputy Ervin Salianji said that he expects to be declared innocent.

He warned that he will send this matter and that of the property investigation for the former Minister of the Interior, Fatmir Xhafaj, to SPAK.

"It is clear that the registration is correct", said Salianji on his way out of the Court of Appeal.

"Today, the prosecutor's office said that I damaged the image of a drug trafficker and forced his brother to resign. Yes, I have this goal every day, to overthrow the government. These are moral rotters who sell everything for money, do everything for political interest ", said the democratic deputy.

Salianji revealed that in the hearing, Geron Xhafajt's lawyer claimed that his client was under monitoring by the Prosecution of Serious Crimes and the Intelligence Service. "He said it himself. And according to them, all the institutions are conspiring and only these are okay", said Salianji.

The democratic deputy, who if found guilty on appeal loses his mandate, said that this case should have been tried in SPAK and that Fatmir Xhafaj's assets should be investigated.

"We will file a complaint with SPAK for this case, for the judge of this case, for Fatmir Xhafajn, because his own brother has been convicted for drug trafficking and he is not being investigated for wealth under the anti-mafia law. This process has been delayed because they wanted to. Even today, a decision should have been made" , concluded Salianji.
