Handcuffed, former deputy minister Rrjepaj arrives at the Assembly to testify about sterilization!

Handcuffed and accompanied by police forces, the former Deputy Minister of Health arrived at the Assembly to testify about the sterilization concession at the Health Investigation Commission.

The Special Prosecutor's Office gave permission for Rrepaj to leave the detention cell and appear physically before the commission. 

This is the first time that a detainee has been questioned by deputies.

Also, two of the members of the commission that announced the winner of the concession, Marsela Serjani and Petro Mersini , will also be questioned .

Both of them are required to appear, but SPAK has also given permission for them to be questioned by the Commission.

Of interest is the testimony on October 3, of the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj, in the SPAK investigation for the sterilization concession, but at the same time with a prison sentence for another investigation against him, that of the abuse of EU funds when he led the agency SASPAC.

The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, has been under investigation by SPAK for a year, as a suspect for abuse of office regarding 2 signed tenders, for sterilization and check-up.

Until now, former deputy minister Klodian Rjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj have been left in prison for the 100 million euro concession.
