The two twin brothers, Donald and Romeo Veshaj, have been facing justice for five years, after being accused of being the perpetrators of an injury registered in 2017 in the city of Vlora.
The journalist of the chronicle, Anduena Llabani, informs that on May 27, a hearing will be held in the High Court for the two comedian brothers, after the appeal of the decision of the Appeal by the Prosecution of Vlora. The Court of First Instance and the Court of Appeals left the two Vlora brothers out of the cell.
Donald and Romeo Veshaj, now public figures, are charged with the criminal offense of "intentional grievous bodily harm", committed in collaboration. According to the Criminal Code, finding guilty of this offense is punishable by three to 10 years in prison.
Journalist post:
An event from five years ago starring the two Vlora actors Romeo and Donald Veshaj, is back in the spotlight for review in court. The two Veshaj brothers, well-known faces on the screen, have been facing justice for several years.
This is because in 2017, they were convicted by the Court of Vlora for the criminal offense of "intentional grievous bodily harm", committed in collaboration (Article 88/1 and 25 of the Criminal Code). In the face of a lenient decision given by the first instance of the judiciary, where the two brothers continued to be released and the appeal of the Prosecution, the second instance upheld the decision of the first instance.
However, dissatisfied with the decision of the Appeal, the Vlora Prosecutor's Office sent the case for reconsideration to the High Court. The latter registered the recourse and set May 27 as the date of the first hearing.
The event for which the two brothers are accused seems to have passed in silence, as well as the sentence which left the two actors out of the cell.
