The mother of Ena Muçaj, the 12-year-old who died in the shocking accident the day before in Durres, has spoken for the first time.
In a direct link to Euronews Albania, Enea's mother, who said her final goodbye to her son today, recounted the moments of horror a few minutes after the tragic accident.
According to her, it was the 12-year-old's sister who ran at the tragic moment and did not recognize her brother as his body was covered in blood.
"The old woman had seen the event, the whole event. Whatever she saw, the old woman was terrified, she was terrified that she didn't recognize her brother, she didn't recognize her brother's head.
When I went, what did I see? I took the boy in my arms, blood was dripping from him. I took the boy in my arms, blood was dripping from him like a sea, the house was filled with the boy's blood.
"They had stabbed me, I didn't recognize my son by his head, by his body, he had been torn to pieces. I only recognized him by his chest, he was doing therapy every day, he told me I would be fine with my mom," she said through tears.
