The Albanian government has decided to extend the deadline for the entry and stay of Ukrainians in Albania.

From one year, now Ukrainians have the opportunity to stay without a permit for up to two years.

"Decided: In point 1, of decision no. 169, dated 18.3.2022, of the Council of Ministers, "On determining the term of entry and stay of citizens of Ukraine in the Republic of Albania", the phrase "... 1 (one) year ..." is replaced by "... 2 (two) years...", it is stated in VKM.

On March 18, the government decided that Ukrainian citizens can stay in our country without a permit for up to one year. The decision was taken as a result of Russia's war in Ukraine, where hundreds of Ukrainians have found refuge in Albania.
