Some citizens came out today in a protest in front of the Constitutional Court, demanding the repeal of the law on the income tax of free professions.

With the slogan "Don't sit like protesting sheep", the organizers have invited businesses providing professional services to protest peacefully in front of the Constitutional Court.

As can be seen in these images symbolically, the protesters have also brought some sheep.

From January 1, freelancers will be taxed 15% on their income. Expenses for those who have not kept a record during the previous year will be calculated by removing a reference of 30% on the profit generated.

But this law has been sent to the Constitutional Court to be overturned.

The Constitutional Court will examine on June 18, 2024, all four lawsuits filed for the repeal of the "Income Tax" law, which began to be implemented with free professions from January 1.

The first lawsuit in the Constitutional Court was filed in February 2024 by 37 opposition MPs.
