The testimony of the 57-year-old woman, who tried to take a 2-year-old child in a market in Tirana, has been revealed.

She stated that she was playing with the child in the presence of his mother, giving him a chocolate before going out. She insisted that she had no intention of abducting the child.

The incident took place on Ruga e Barricadave, where the woman took the minor in her arms and then returned to the market.

The police accompanied her and suspect that she suffers from mental health problems.

The materials of the case have been sent to the Prosecutor's Office for criminal proceedings for "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty", remaining pending.
