Vlora Police have shared details from today's operation for the hostage-taking of a young man after conflicts over debts and then his rape in order to gain 6 thousand euros.

A suspect has been arrested, and his 2 accomplices are wanted.

The complaint was filed last night by the 20-year-old victim himself, who also recounted the dynamics of how he was put in the car of two brothers and then taken to a place where he was raped and threatened.

Vlora Police Announcement:

The investigative and operational structures of the Vlora Police Department, immediately after receiving information about a citizen who had been forcibly taken into a vehicle, organized the work to identify, locate and capture the suspected perpetrators.

Thanks to the rapid response and investigative actions, carried out within the framework of the police operation codenamed "STRIKE 2", specialists from the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person caught and arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen BH, 24 years old, resident of the village of Risili, Vlora, and declared the citizens RL, 30 years old and LK(L.), 34 years old (brothers), both residents of the village of Risili, Vlora, wanted by the police.

Preliminary investigations suspect that these citizens, in collaboration with each other, forcibly took a 20-year-old man into the vehicle used by two brothers, and then took him to a secluded area, where they exercised violence against him, with the aim of obtaining the monetary amount of 6,000 euros.

Work continues, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, for the complete legal documentation of the event, as well as for the capture of the wanted citizens.

The procedural materials were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for the criminal offenses of "Kidnapping or holding a person hostage" and "Coercion by threat or violence for the release of property", committed in collaboration."
