In the next session on the seized assets of the Martinaj family, Mustafa Martinaj continued his testimony before the Special Court, speaking about the economic activity of his son, Ervis Martinaj, family relationships and the assets that are currently under seizure.

He stated that from 2008 onwards, his son had been involved in sports betting with a license and with paid obligations to the state, while emphasizing that he himself had not engaged in gambling activities.

Martinaj also indicated that one of the assets seized in the name of Bisere Hato was donated by his son, as a sign of gratitude after, according to him, her son had saved Visit's life after the assassination attempt in the former Blloku area in 2018.

During his testimony, Mustafa Martinaj also spoke about the period after Ervis Martinaj's disappearance in August 2022, saying that the police went to his apartment 23 times, while adding that his son had lived in Laç until the day of his disappearance.

A property that is currently seized in the name of Bisere Hato was forgiven by my son, Eljo Hato, with my consent. The forgiveness of the apartment was only made because Eljo Hato, Bisere's son, saved Vis's life.

The first good car my son had cost 60 thousand euros, or 48 thousand euros, with my money. I bought it early. In his life, he has never brought me any trouble at home. There is no young man who has no conflicts or fights, until 2018, never, if you ask in Laç, if someone spoke badly, his name was mentioned with respect.

In 2018, he came and lived with his whole family at my place. He left Tirana, we got his passport, he was mainly engaged in non-commercial fishing. He stayed in Laç until the day he disappeared, August 9, 2022.
