Police have provided details regarding the tragic accident that occurred on the western ring road of the city of Shkodra, in which one person lost his life.

It concerns Shkëlqim Krasniqi , 62 years old, who lost his life in a collision between two cars.

As can be seen from the footage, the person on the bicycle was walking on the side of the road, while parallel to him was a white "Ford" car, driven by Fatbardh Lishi.

Meanwhile, a "Benz" type car, driven by Adnan Galica, comes speeding in front of them, who had just overtaken, but due to the speed, collided head-on with the other car. Meanwhile, it is reported that the two drivers of the vehicles were slightly injured.

Police announcement:

"Shkodra/Preliminary information. At around 08:10, on the western ring road of the city of Shkodra, the vehicle driven by citizen AG collided with the vehicle driven by citizen FL and then also collided with a citizen riding a bicycle.

As a result of the accident, the citizen who was riding a bicycle, about 50 years old, lost his life, and both drivers of the vehicles were slightly injured. Police services and the investigation group are at the scene, working to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
