"I didn't want it to end like this", said the 68-year-old Greek who killed the 39-year-old Albanian with a rifle in Pira, Greece today.
Although at the scene, after killing the Albanian, he said that "now I'm done with you", it seems that the elderly Greek has regretted the crime.
"We had friction for years. They put the cars from the parking lot to the sidewalk. They blocked the roads. I had complained many times. I didn't want it to end like this," the killer told the police, reports MEGA television.
But even though he now expresses remorse, the 68-year-old Greek only needed a few seconds to take the life of the father of 3 children.
After the verbal argument they had, the 68-year-old Greek went to his apartment and returned with a rifle in his hand. He caught the Albanian red-handed and shot him in the head with a bullet. Although the 39-year-old fell to the ground, the perpetrator shot him a second time, leaving him dead on the spot.
The brutal crime shocked the entire public opinion in Greece. Residents of the area have described the 68-year-old as a problematic person who had conflicts with other neighbors of the neighborhood.
The Greek police say that the 68-year-old also possessed the crime rifle without a permit.
