Cars stuck in snow

As in many cities and areas of Albania, intense snowfalls have caught drivers in Dibër by surprise, especially those who have crossed the Ulza Pass.

The heavy snowfall, but also the lack of chains and tires, has caused many of them to become stranded in this area.

Numerous vehicles have been blocked at Qafë e Ulza for at least 1 and a half hours.

The State Police has increased the presence of Traffic Police and General Patrol officers to monitor vehicle traffic and prevent accidents.

Regarding electricity supply, a defect in the 110 kW system has left the entire Dibra District without electricity, with a one-hour interruption.
