The high flow of vacationers who spent the weekend on the beaches of the Riviera has caused kilometers of traffic this afternoon on the axis from the Llogara Tunnel towards Orikum and further towards Vlora.

Thousands of vehicles are involved in long queues, while the massive return of vacationers from the beaches of Palasa, Drimadhes, Dhërmi, Jala and Himara has brought about a significant increase in traffic.

In some segments, vehicle movement has been very slow.

This weekend, the south of the country faced a high number of visitors, bringing heavy traffic to the area's main roads.

Authorities are calling on drivers to show patience and respect road traffic rules to avoid incidents.
