Denis Bajri alias Brajovic accuses his sworn opponent, the much-wanted Ibrahim Lici, of ordering the attack on him inside the Fier prison cell.

During his testimony before investigators, Bajri, who was attempted to be killed with a homemade knife inside the prison, claimed that Jurgen Zotaj attacked him on Lici's orders.

"Aldo Gjini asked to meet me. He came to my cell with Jurgen Zoto. The latter gave me a phone.

Ibrahim Lici was on the line. He told me your life was like this.

"At that moment, Zoto tried to attack me with a knife," Denis Bajri stated, among other things.

During the fight, Bajri and Zoto were injured and transported for medical attention.

After the event, the Disciplinary Commission at the General Directorate of Prisons decided to expel 8 police officers and refer them to the prosecutor's office for abuse of office.

The Internal Affairs and Prison Complaints Service is investigating to determine the responsibility of the police officers who allowed the movement of convicts and detainees from one building to another, as well as the fact that they had telephones, an item strictly prohibited in cells.

The disciplinary committee ordered 3 months of solitary confinement for Gjini and Zotaj. Aldo Gjini was transferred to Drenova, while Zoto was transferred to Burrel prison.
