Scammed foreigners to invest in the stock market, call center administrator in

Tirana, defrauding foreigners to invest in fictitious stock exchanges, the administrator of the Call Center in handcuffs.

"The coded police operation "Last call" by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, at the DVP Tirana, has been successfully completed. 

They cheated foreign citizens, via the phone, to invest in fictitious stock exchanges, the subject's administrator and 2 employees (operators) were arrested. 

The owner of the entity not registered with the tax authorities is wanted.    

4 computer units, mobile devices and lists with various data of foreign citizens who are suspected to have been defrauded to invest in fictitious stock exchanges are seized. 

Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in DVP Tirana, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana, after a real investigative work, successfully organized and finalized the coded police operation "Last call".  

As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:   

- DT, 35 years old, resident in Tirana, administrator of a call center entity;

- E. Ll., 28 years old and EA, 23 years old, both residents of Tirana, employed as operators in this subject. 

Following the actions, the owner of this subject, AT citizen, 34 years old, resident in Tirana, was declared wanted.

The investigative actions showed that the citizen DT administered a private call center entity, owned by the citizen AT, in the area of ​​the former Park. Citizens E. Ll. were employed as operators in this unregistered entity in the competent bodies. and EA, who, together with the administrator, called foreign nationals, presented themselves as sales agents and, through fraud, convinced them to invest in the fictitious Forex exchange.

During the operation, 4 computer units, mobile devices and lists with various data of foreign citizens who were allegedly defrauded to invest in fictitious stock exchanges were seized as material evidence.

The work continues for the complete documentation of this criminal activity and the capture of the AT citizen

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions," the announcement states.
