At least five people were killed in Cetinje on Friday, while police are searching for author Aco Martinovic from Cetinja, the vijesti newspaper reports.

The incident occurred at the Tavern "Velestovo" near the Sports Center.

It is understood that initially a fight occurred in the premises, after which the fugitive pulled out his gun and fired.

The Police Directorate has appealed to citizens of Cetinja to remain clear and stay in their homes, while all available police teams are on the ground.

"We inform the public that this is a situational event, which is not the result of the crackdown on high-risk organised criminal groups. To resolve this crisis situation, special police units have been sent to the ground," the police said.
