Fiks Fare warned a few weeks ago that the investigations into the murder of Egli Proga, on August 10, 2024, in Pogradec, were being manipulated.

Through testimonies, hidden cameras and documents, the investigative show proved that the investigations of the Korça Prosecutor's Office were deficient and prolonged, which enabled all the perpetrators to be released from prison.

Our editorial team even documented the manipulation of witnesses, who changed their statements several times or even deleted security cameras. Although 14 months had passed, the file has been returned for investigation. The Korça Prosecutor's Office is unable to find the security cameras, which have been deleted, both in the bar where the murder occurred and in the supermarket opposite.

The cameras filmed before and after the murder, but not the minutes of the murder! The prosecution still has many questions; Where are the cameras, how many people hit him and how many people participated?! These questions still have no answers to this day, as the event continues to have many mysteries and no one is responsible for who interfered with the servers.

A few days after the broadcast of this case, as predicted by the show Fiks Fare, the main author Denis Meçe has been released from prison. The decision was given on Saturday, November 15, 2025, by the Korça Court, due to the loss of the power of detention. Due to the delay in the investigations or the endless wait for the expertise in Italy, the deadlines passed and the people who were in prison, Denis Meçe and Leonidha (alias Klodi) Guçe, were released from prison.

The release decision states that "they are not to have contact with other people, except for family members who live in that apartment", meaning their premises are not guarded by police officers and they could escape at any moment! The release order states that "the loss of the power of detention was ascertained due to the expiration of the term, related to the security measure of arrest with prison".

Fiksi addressed an official request to the Korça Prosecutor's Office, asking why the perpetrators are being investigated with a light security measure. In response, the prosecution writes that Denis Meçe and Leonidha Guçe are being investigated on charges of intentional murder committed in collaboration. Voltan Shkullaku and Arjan Manellari are being investigated for failure to report a crime and actions that hinder the discovery of the truth. Ardjan Bego is being investigated for failure to report a crime. Meanwhile, Andi Shkullaku is being investigated for failure to report a crime and false statements before a judicial police officer.

Surprisingly, the Korça Prosecutor's Office writes after 14 months that the criminal proceedings "are still in the preliminary investigation phase". According to it, a decision has been drawn up for the expert examination of the electronic devices seized at the scene, and they have been sent abroad by mail. But, so far, it has not been revealed who interfered with the cameras!

Fiksi asked the Korça Prosecutor's Office whether the investigations have also been extended to State Police employees, experts or other persons, relatives of the perpetrators, for committing any criminal offense? In this response, the Korça Prosecutor's Office briefly replied that "at the same time, investigations are also continuing for the criminal offense of 'abuse of office'".

But when will he go to court?

The indictment states "with the administration of the letter-order, regarding the examination of electronic devices, the Korça Prosecution Office will complete the investigations and proceed with sending the case to court. Currently, due to the expiration of the pre-trial detention periods, there are no persons under investigation with the security measure 'arrest in prison'".

The file is truncated and it is not known who shot the victim! The indictment states that the internal camera of the bar, where the murder occurred, contains a memory card and has recordings from the days before the event. However, the footage from the date of the event has been deleted. The deletion of certain footage may not have occurred due to a technical problem, but may have been intentional interference.

After examining the card, the presence of a virus was discovered, which affected only two folders and it is suspected that this virus was introduced to delete or manipulate data. Meanwhile, the file states that the external camera of a supermarket also contains footage from the period after the event, but with an incorrect date and the year 1970 has been set.

These images show officers at the scene, but do not show footage of the incident. This anomaly suggests a possible intervention.

The file describes in detail the method of obtaining equipment, security cameras from several premises but also from several businesses in that area. The cameras of the Police Commissariat in Pogradec were taken. According to her, the examination resulted in that, on the day of the murder, at 19.50.58, expert Elvin Pocka entered the premises of the commissariat. At 20.03.12, the expert came out with a suitcase in his hand. At 01.43.18, on August 11, 2025, a “Range Rover” vehicle appeared in the premises of the commissariat, which entered and citizen Denis Meçe got out from the rear passenger door. The same expert, Elvin Pocka, also appears in the acts of examination of the crime scene. Decisions were made for the examination of the equipment by a private expert, Erion Lako. But, again, the footage was not returned, but came out with a virus!

Meanwhile, in the wiretaps between the escorted persons, Arjan Manellari speaks to Leonidha Guçe and says that "they didn't give any money, you understand". Then, they talk about how if the cameras are turned on, it will be revealed who shot Egli! Fiksi spoke by phone with Leonidha (Klodi) Guçe, accused of intentional murder and currently being investigated under the security measure "house arrest". He said that "I didn't shoot him, if I hit Egli Proga, I automatically, as a person, let them give me life imprisonment". Fiksi asked who shot him, and he replied that "Denis Meçja shot him".

The accused said that the incident is being manipulated. "At the moment Denis hit him, and at the time of leaving, he called one of his people on the phone, I'm saying he must have called his uncle. He said it either on the phone or on 'WhatsApp', I'm not sure where! He called him and told him that I killed a man," Leonidha claims.

He insists that it is precisely these people, the uncle, who are trying to manipulate the case. "Who could have intervened, those who are manipulating the case. I did not go to the supermarket to see or take the cameras. I demand that justice be served, that the cameras be opened, because the cameras accurately confirm the event," he adds.

Leonidha says that, in addition to the cameras of the bar and the supermarket, the Municipality of Pogradec also had cameras. "They were the municipality's cameras, it's not 1 camera! How is it possible that 3 cameras were hidden at the same moment when the incident occurred. I demand that the cameras be opened and the perpetrator be punished. If I hit him, I will receive the most severe punishment. I said it and I repeat it again, life imprisonment. They are destroying me, they are destroying my family", he concluded. /TCH
