About a month after the double murder in a bar in Manzë, the perpetrator wanted for the murder of Flori Paluçin, Daniel Pepa, has surrendered.

The 21-year-old shot and killed Flori Paluçi, 33, after the latter killed his friend, Aranit Kurti, 23.

"Specialists for Crime Against Life and Property at the Durrës Local Police Directorate arrested citizen DP, 21 years old, resident of the village of Manëz, Manëz Unit, Durrës.

His arrest was carried out pursuant to the order dated 14.11.2025, of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for the execution of criminal decision no. 622/1, dated 13.11.2025, of the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction of Durrës, which has imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" against this citizen, as a person suspected of committing the criminal offenses "Intentional murder", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

These actions are related to the event that occurred on 22.10.2025, where citizens FP and AK were killed, in Manëz, Durrës, an event in which this citizen is implicated, suspected as the perpetrator.

"During the procedural actions, a firearm was seized from this citizen. In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, work continues on the full legal documentation of the event," the police announced. 

The investigations conducted revealed that Daniel Pepa entered the bar and, for weak motives (for a coffee and an espresso that had been turned off in the bar), had a verbal conflict with the bar's waiter and with citizen Flori Paluçi, who was accompanied to the bar by several citizens, among them, the arrested Erald Cani.

After the verbal conflict, the 21-year-old left the premises of the bar by vehicle, where he returned immediately afterwards, accompanied by the arrested citizen Ergi Kadiu and by the citizen Aranit Kurti.

At this moment, Danieli is suspected of having fired a firearm at citizen Flori, who he wounded, and the latter fired a firearm at citizens Danieli and Aranit (who is suspected of having punched Paluçi in the face). As a result, Flori Paluçi and Aranit Kurti were killed.

Further investigations suggest that citizen GA fled the scene with citizen Daniel Pepa.
