The prosecution has requested the maximum sentence of life imprisonment for the defendants Naim Murseli, Granit Plava and Kushtrim Kokalla , within the framework of the trial for the murder of Liridona Ademaj-Murseli.

This case is considered one of the most serious criminal events in recent years in the country.

During today's court session, the victim's brother, Leonardi, also spoke, demanding justice and exemplary punishment for the perpetrators.

He emphasized that over 55 women have been killed in Kosovo in a few years, underlining the need for justice to send a strong message.

"We know that we cannot bring back our murdered sisters, but today we must send a message to those who dare to lay hands on our mothers and sisters," he said.
