During a search of the apartment, a cold weapon was found on the 36-year-old.

By court decision, the Elbasan Prosecution and Police have been conducting searches in the homes of people connected to the incinerator in the city of Elbasan since the early hours of the morning.

Investigations began more than a year ago into the arsonists, as the waste field was engulfed in flames in 2024, but it seems that during the investigation the prosecution found elements of abuse of office.

Unofficial sources indicate that the homes of the vice mayors or former vice mayors in Peqin, Gramsh, Librazhd and Cërrik have been searched to find documentation related to waste being sent to the incinerator.

Phones and many materials have been seized that shed light on the investigation into "abuse of office".
